OS/2 Tips
It's a well forgotten fact, but if you want to tweak you OS/2 system. Edit the Config.Sys File and the Autoexec.Bat file with a text editor that can make all of your characters Lower Case. The System will process those files a lot quicker.
Sounds Strange, but the Computer defines each character as these
files load, the process goes faster if all of the characters are the
same case.
One of the more non used features of OS/2 is the ability to
Customize the WPS (Desktop) Menu. By clicking the Rt Mouse Button,
and selecting Properties, then the Menu Tab. You can add commands,
Menu Box's, and Additional Programs to you WPS Menu.
The Best Feature added to the OS/2 PM Shell is the WarpCenter,
with Tray's, you can adapt you WPS with many of your most used tools.
Or just Catagorize some of your frequently used programs.
